Shawnee Community College Reaffirmed by Higher Learning Commission with High Praise

Published June 2, 2025Shawnee Community College proudly announces the reaffirmation of its accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)—an achievement that underscores the confidence, strength, and dedication of its faculty, staff, and leadership. For the first time in the College’s history, SCC has also been placed on the Open Pathway, which reflects institutional trust, stability, and a focus on continuous quality improvement.
