Gas metal arc welding (also known as ‘MIG’ welding) is a versatile welding method used in various industries including automotive, robotics, construction, manufacturing and repair. Gas metal arc welding is often preferred for indoor welding because it is cleaner. It permits more control over the welding process. Most courses in this certification are delivered in the competency-based educational modality.
