Why
Can’t
I login?
If you
can't log on, don't panic. Follow these simple steps to get back online!
- Check your CAPS LOCK key -
it might be on. If so, turn it off and try again.
- Check
to make sure you are typing your username and password correctly. Capitalization
does matter!
- Did you register late? Give
SCC Online a business day to synchronize with your student account.
- You may not have registered
for any classes. You need to have registered for classes before you can
log in to SCC Online.
- The network may be having
some problems or your connection might be slow. Wait a few minutes and
try again.
What
is my “WebCT ID”?
Your WebCT ID is the same as your SCC Student ID.
What
is my “Password”?
Your WebCT Password is the same as your Saints Online PIN.
When I type in
the web address for my online course, I get taken to a strange website I've
never seen before. What's the problem?
You're seeing the effects of a program secretly installed on your computer
- probably as the result of having file-sharing software on your computer.
This software is known as SpyWare or AdWare,
and can exist on your computer even if you've deleted the file-sharing
program that originally installed it. To solve this problem, use this link
to download Ad-Aware
and run it on your personal computer.
For course-specific questions, contact your instructor. If you don't know how
to contact your instructor, or you have general question about online or
hybrid courses, call the Web CT Coordinator at 618-634-3367. You can also e-mail the Web CT coordinator.
