SCC Car Club

     The Shawnee Community College Car Club is an organization developed to generate interest in automotive technology, create student activities related to automotive technology, support education through special events and industrial tours and to encourage student engagement outside the classroom.  The Car Club’s flagship activity is the Shawnee College Car Show that takes place each May that hosts 51 classes of entrants and brings hundreds of car enthusiasts together.  Membership is open to all faculty, staff and any student with at least a six credit hour load.
