  When completing your admission information form, make sure you know whether we consider you in-district or out-of-district; this will be important later.

• Have your transcripts mailed.

• Complete all necessary assessment tests for course-level placement.

• Schedule an academic advising session by calling 618/634-3200 if the following apply:
  • You're a new student (never attended college before);
  • You're a returning student (previously attended Shawnee) with fewer than 15 college credit hours on record;
  • You're a transfer student (attended another college or university) transferring credit hours to Shawnee.
  • You're a returning student (previously attended Shawnee) with 15 or more completed credit hours on record.

• Register for classes through "Saints Online."

• Pay the bill.

• Order your books.

• Activate your free student email account.
