Lady Saints Basketball Team Signs Tori Loomis
The Shawnee Community College Saints Women's Basketball team signs guard Tori Loomis to a National Letter of Intent for the 2015-2016 team. Tori attended Caldwell County High School in Princeton, KY. She is the daughter of Sherry Ferguson and Robert Loomis.
Tori experienced great success at Caldwell County. Tori averaged 11.8 ppg while also averaging 4.5rpg. Tori is one of the top shooters from the state of Kentucky as she was in the top 10 of the state for 3 pointers made per a game at 2.5. She is a two year all 7th District performer.
Tori's high school coach, Malissa Thomas, said, "Tori Loomis is one of the most versatile players I have ever coached. Tori is an exceptional scorer, specializing in the three point shot, and she led our team in 3 point shooting and free-throw shooting for both her junior and senior seasons. Tori is also a leader both on and off the basketball court. Tori has performed well as the starting third baseman for the Lady Tiger softball team while maintaining a 3.1 GPA at Caldwell County High School."
New women's basketball coach, Luke Scheidecker, said, "We are getting an exceptional student-athlete in Tori Loomis. Tori is a great shooter who will really help stretch the floor for us. Tori will demand that opposing defenses know where she is at all the time."
