SCC Offers Food Sanitation Refresher Course

A Food Service Sanitation refresher course is being offered by Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois. The course will be held at Shawnee Community College's Extension Center in Anna, Illinois. The course will be offered Friday, August 29, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The fee for this workshop is $38.00.

To attend the class, participants must have a current Illinois State Sanitation Certificate that has not expired. Students may register the day of the course but should call in advance to secure a seat in the class. This is a review of food safety and sanitation information; no state test is given. The class will meet for the required six hours and will earn .5 credit hour.
