Food Sanitation Course Offered

A Food Service Sanitation refresher course is being offered by Shawnee Community College at the Metropolis Regional Education and Training Center. The course will be offered Monday August 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The fee for this workshop is $30.
To attend the class, participants must have a current Illinois State Sanitation Certificate that has not expired. Students may register the day of the course but should call in advance to secure a seat in the class. This is a review of food safety and sanitation information; no state test is given. The class will meet for the required six hours and will earn .5 credit hour from the college.
