SCC Offers Paraprofessional/Basic Skills Prep Course

Shawnee Community College offers a preparation course for students who are preparing to take the Illinois Test of Basic Skills or the WorkKeys Test for paraprofessional certification. EDU130/21, is a one credit hour course. The class is scheduled to meet on Tues. evenings from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on SCC's main campus in Ullin. The class will run March 17 through May 16 with Shelly Clark as the instructor. Students may register for this course at any SCC campus. The cost of the course is $65.00.

The WorkKeys Exam is scheduled to be given at SCC on February 26 and May 13 from 9:00-12:00. The cost of the exam is $50.00. Students must register and pre-pay two weeks in advance. To register for the WorkKeys Exam call Sharon Walker at 618-634-3235.
