SCC Offers Paraprofessional/Basic Skills Prep Course

Shawnee Community College offers a preparation course for students who are preparing to take the Illinois Test of Basic Skills or the WorkKeys Test for paraprofessional certification. EDU130/21, is a one credit hour course. The class is scheduled to meet on Tues. evenings from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on SCC's main campus in Ullin. The class will run March 18-May 13 with Shelly Clark as the instructor. Students may register for this course at any SCC campus. The cost of the course is $65.00. The WorkKeys Exam is scheduled to be given at SCC on February 26 and May 13 from 9:00-12:00.

The cost of the exam is $50.00. Students must register and pre-pay two weeks in advance.
