High School Musical Auditions at SCC

Auditions for the 13th Annual Spring Musical, "High School Musical" will be on Monday, December 10 from 2 - 6 p.m. in the SCC Educational Center located on the main campus near Ullin. Auditions are open to Shawnee Community College students and staff. Those auditioning must bring a headshot photo of their faces. If auditioning for a main character, please choose one of that character's songs from the show to sing for auditions and select a short scene from the script to perform. Copies of the scripts, CD and music are available for review prior to auditions. Participants should wear comfortable clothes: no dresses or tight pants.

Participating in a college theatre performance is a major commitment of time and talent. Rehearsals will be held Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. "High School Musical" performances will be held in the Educational Center located at the main campus near Ullin on February 27 through March 1, 2008.
