Medical Arts and Science Construction Underway

SCC President, Dr. Larry Peterson and Don Wisely of Image Architects survey the progress on the medical arts and science building construction at the main campus. The 22,000 sq. ft. building will house the allied health programs of the college, Licensed Practical Nursing, Registered Nursing, Nurse's Assistant, and Massage Therapy, along with other programs as they are developed. The building will also house a new wellness and fitness center. Completion is expected by January, 2010.

Other items planned for this building include at least one computer lab open to all SCC students, wireless technology, additional classroom space available for classes outside the Allied Health Department, and faculty offices.
