SBDC Hosts Lenders Forum

The Illinois Small Business Development Center hosted a lenders forum on Thursday to inform area bankers and loan officers about financing opportunities through federal, state and local resources. Representatives from the Small Business Administration, Small Business Growth Corporation, and USDA Rural Development shared information on federal programs available. Representatives from the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer and Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity presented information on state programs. Donna Raynalds with the Southernmost IL Delta Empowerment Zone and Tiffany George with Southern Five Regional Planning spoke to the group on local financing programs.
