Century Valedictorian Receives Laptop from SCC

Dr. Larry Choate, SCC President, recently presented Century High School valedictorian, Blake Thurston, with a new notebook computer. Blake is the son of Stanley and Carol Thurston.

Blake graduated in May 2007 from Century High School High School with a 4.0 grade point average. He plans to earn an Associate of Science degree from Shawnee Community College. While in high school, he was involved with the Beta Club, Centurion baseball and basketball, and received awards in geometry, trigonometry, and biology.
