Foundation Donates to Kidz College

The Shawnee Community College Foundation Board recently made a donation of $200 to KIDZ College. This will provide five students with scholarships for the summer program offered at Shawnee Community College. Students in grades 2-5 will have the opportunity to attend a variety of classes on campus this summer. They will study Native American Indian Culture, Arts and Crafts, Martial Arts, Computer Technology and Physical Fitness. Classes begin July 10. Other KIDZ College classes will also be offered throughout the year at various SCC extension centers. Classes will be posted on the SCC website: shawneecc.edu.
