Area cosmetologists can take advantage of an exciting learning opportunity by attending Shawnee Community College's Annual Hair Seminar on Monday, August 2, on the main campus near Ullin.

The annual event will feature Scruples International and will offer artistic cutting, dramatic coloring and creative styling demonstrations.

The one-day seminar begins with late registration from 8 to 9 a.m., with the seminar beginning at 9 a.m.

The pre-registration cost is $35 through July 23rd. Late registration will be accepted the day of the seminar at a cost of $45. Lunch is included. Checks should be made payable to Shawnee Community College. SCC Hair Seminar participants qualify for seven Continuing Education Units.
