SCC Offers Free GED Classes

Shawnee Community College is offering free GED classes for the Fall semester. Classes will begin August 20 and last eight weeks. All classes are open entry/open exit, and students may enroll any day or night that class is held. For more information, contact James Darden at 618-634-3222.

SCC is also offering English-Second Language Classes in Cobden at the Technology Learning Center, 111 South Appleknocker Drive. The class will run from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A civics class is also available at the Cobden location on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
