Shawnee Community College's Saints Basketball player, Jobe Dillard, has just signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri.
Jobe is a Little Rock, Arkansas native and has played on SCC's Saints team for two years as a guard. Dillard was very active at SCC with Student Support Services (SSS) and playing for the SCC Saints. He is the son of Jobe Dillard Sr. and Tamitria Willis. The Columbia College Cougars are in the American Midwest Conference.
Jobe's stats at SCC were outstanding. He averaged 11.0 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, 1.8 assists per game and his field goal percentage was 44.2%.
Coach John Sparks stated, "We are going to really miss Jobe's leadership and toughness. He was the heart and soul of this team and did so many intangibles things for us. We are excited for him to start the next chapter in his basketball and education career."
Jobe's career goals are to earn his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and to play basketball overseas after college.
