Cooking Classes at SCC

Do you have trouble making smooth, perfect gravy? What
about perfect pie crusts? Need to plan, prepare, assemble and serve delicious
gourmet meals? SCC is offering a series of cooking classes designed to share
techniques and tricks to perfect your kitchen skills.
Make Great Gravy will be on Monday, April 24 from 6 to
9 p.m. in the SCC main campus cafeteria. Connie Lowery will share secrets
to making milk gravy and brown gravy. Bonnie Sullivan will present Perfect
Pie Crusts on Tuesday, April 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pulaski County
Business Center, 3030 Enterprise Lane in Mounds. Gourmet Cooking will be offered
on Tuesday, May 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pulaski County Business Center,
3030 Enterprise Lane in Mounds.
Classes are $15 each and include all materials and ingredients.
The classes are part of the college's community education program. Pre-registration
