The first Intercollegiate Art Show will begin at 7 p.m., Saturday April 28, 2007, at Shawnee Community College, in the Atrium. Students from SCC, John A. Logan College, and Southeastern Illinois College will be exhibiting their works in this competition. This is an opportunity for students from the three different schools to display their works and see what students from other schools are doing with their art. The opening will include music, refreshments, and a formal critique of the artworks by our judge. All artwork will be judged by Najjar Abdul-Musawwir, an art instructor from SIUC. Admission is free to everyone.
The exhibit will be available for viewing from until May 4.
