SCC Summer Nurse Assistant and Phlebotomy Offerings in Anna

Shawnee Community College is offering a tuition-free class to in-district residents interested in attaining a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certificate. The Nurse Assistant class will be offered this summer at the Anna Extension Center on 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 2 - July 31. Although tuition for this class is waived, a book purchase is required.

Also offered this summer will be a phlebotomy class at the Anna Extension Center. Phlebotomy is the practice of collecting blood samples and is used in many health professions. The class will run 6:00 - 9:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 10 - July 3. The phlebotomy class is 1.5 credit hours.
