SCC Theatrical Production of Charlotte's Web

The 19th Annual Fall Children's Theatre, "Charlotte's Web: The Musical," performances will be held in the Educational Center located at the Main Campus near Ullin. Performances will be Thursday and Friday, November 1 and 2 at 9 a.m. and noon, with evening performances on Friday and Saturday, November 2 and 3 at 7:00 p.m. A matinee will be Saturday, November 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets for Thursday and Friday matinees are $5 for adults and $2 for students. Bus drivers and teachers attend free of charge. Evening performances and the Saturday matinee are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Seating begins 30 minutes before performances. Hearing assistance devices are available. Concessions will be available during the evening performance intermission. Themed educational materials are available upon request.

A "County Fair" will take place during intermission of both evening performances and the Saturday matinee. The SCC Atrium will be transformed into a County Fair Midway complete with carnival games, raffles, and live entertainment. Concessions and Charlotte's Web merchandise will be available for purchase. Tiffany's Flowers and Gifts will also be on hand for those that wish to purchase flowers for cast members. Also, an exclusive backstage tour will be given for Patrons of the Arts Members ONLY and will begin promptly at 6:00 PM for the evening performances and 1:00 PM for the Saturday matinee. Patrons are encouraged to call Tim Frizzell and pre-register for the tour.

"Charlotte's Web" The Musical is produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois. The performance is based upon the story by E.B. White, book by Joseph Robinette and music and lyrics by Charles Strouse.
