18th Annual SCC Car Show

Shawnee Community College invites everyone to visit the 18th annual Annual SCC Car Show on Sunday, May 4th, 2008. SCC Car Show 5-year, 10-year and 15-year participants will receive awards for their continued attendance. The Car Show will be held rain or shine, on the main campus near Ullin from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Spectators are invited. Food vendors, music and prizes add to the festive atmosphere.

There will be no pre-registration. Vehicles will be parked in the order that they arrive. Arrive early for the prime parking spots. Early bird judging will begin at 10 a.m. All vehicles must be ready for judging at 12:00 noon. Gates and registration will close at noon for participants.

Forty-seven classes will be offered this year, with each receiving three large trophies per class with 14 or more Specialty Awards this year. Entry Fee will be $15 per vehicle and non-judged entries will be $5 per vehicle. Judges will inspect your vehicle, each looking at a separate area. You must be present to win specialty awards and winning vehicles must remain on display for photos until after the end of the awards presentation.
