Board of Trustees Meeting
Shawnee Continues to Grow
Dr. Larry Choate announced to the Board of Trustees that the fall 2005 enrollment
at Shawnee Community College has seen a steady increase compared to fall 2004.
Enrollment was up almost 3 percent overall, with a positive outlook for the
spring 2006 semester. Although registration is closed for the regular spring
semester, a late-start schedule will begin the week of Feb. 13. Because of
the increase in demand, SCC is currently developing an additional 8-week late-start
schedule which will begin in mid-March.
