Babaloo Children's Performance April 8th, at SCC 3/24/08
Shawnee Community College welcomes children's singer, songwriter and storyteller Babaloo. Canadian children's performer, Rob Compton mixes songs, stories, movement, call and response, mass drumming, bean-bag bopping, and any other type of controlled musical mayhem to keep kids on the edge of (or out of) their seats.
Babaloo will perform on Tuesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. in the SCC Educational Center located on the main campus near Ullin. Tickets are $2. Pre-registration is required for groups of 10 or more. The performance is suitable for pre-k through 8th grade. For more information or to pre-resister contact Tim Frizzell, Educational Center Coordinator at 618-634-3323 or timf@shawneecc.edu.
Venues include concerts, fairs and festivals, libraries, school assemblies, parties and just about any event where kids and grownups are looking to have fun! Performances are high-energy, interactive events.
Audiences move, dance, sing, scream, shout, grunt, growl, throw things around, make big noice, and laugh-- a lot!
Audiences range from preschool through preteen (and parents, of course). Each performance is tailored to the particular crowd, and no crowd is too big or too small.
