Build Your Own Business Program Set

The Southernmost Illinois Delta Empowerment Zone, Inc., in partnership with Shawnee Community College Small Business Development Center, invites anyone interested in owning his or her own business to a FREE 11-week program titled "Build Your Own Business."

The program is scheduled for Tuesdays, from 6 to 9 p.m., beginning September 13 through November 22 at Shawnee Community College near Ullin.

Classes will cover basic start-up issues and current information from some of the most knowledgeable professionals and business owners in the region.

The program is valued at $125, but is offered free to all registrants. Advanced registration is required. Call 618-634-3213 or 618-745-6307 to register for class.

The class has been developed in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the University of Illinois Extension, along with the Southernmost Illinois Delta Empowerment Zone, Inc., and Shawnee Community College Small Business Development Center.
