Board Members Honored
Dr. Richard Trampe was presented with a plaque and
gavel at the May board meeting in recognition of his time and dedication
to Shawnee Community College. Dr. Trampe was the SCC Board Chairman for
the past two years and will continue to serve on the board.
Student Trustee Ted Shaffer and board member Skip Junkerman
were also honored at the meeting for their dedication to the college.
The Board of Trustees also welcomed its newest members,
Cathy Belcher and Student Trustee Dana Cross. The SCC Board offices are
now: Mr. Scott Farmer, chairman; Mr. Wesley Wright, vice-chairman; Ms. Maxine
Russell, secretary; Dr. Manul Goins, assistant secretary; Mr. Don Patton,
ICCTA delegate; and Ms. Cathy Belcher, ICCTA alternate delegate and liaison
to the foundation.
