Shawnee Saints Homecoming Fiesta in February

Shawnee Community College will celebrate Homecoming week, beginning Tuesday, February 21 and concluding with men's and women's basketball games on Saturday, February 25. Complete with a fiesta theme, each day will offer students, faculty and staff fun and excitement, from Dress to Impress Day to Pajama Day. Wednesday will feature salsa dancing in the gymnasium. A Kid's Night will be Thursday evening during the Saint's basketball game against Parkland. The first 100 kids get an SCC goody bag. Kids are also eligible for door prizes and main prizes including $50 giveaway and a half time shoot out with prizes. Friday is Spirit Day complete with pep rally, 3-point contest, a slam-dunk contest and more.

The week will conclude with both Saint's and Lady Saint's basketball games beginning at 1 p.m. in the SCC gymnasium. The SCC teams will face Lincoln Land Community College. The homecoming dance will begin at 7 p.m. Homecoming festivities will wrap up with the crowning of Mr. and Mrs. SCC at 9 p.m. during the homecoming dance.
