Free Computer Access Offered in Karnak

The MAP Training Center in Karnak is now offering free computer/internet access due to the Shawnee Community College Community Technology Centers grant. Computers will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday beginning January 24.

Computers are open to the public with no age limit. One-on-one instruction is available in the following areas: internet access, research/homework, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, job searches, digital camera/print shop, setting up E-mail accounts, using E-Bay, and GED instruction. Free transportation will be provided by S.M.A.R.T on Thursdays.
