Cairo Center Hosts Open House

The Shawnee Community College Cairo Center will host an Open House from 3 to 6 p.m. on January 24. SCC has recently moved facilities, and renovated parts of the Cairo Community Education Center to have access to ten classrooms, a computer lab and an interactive video classroom as well as additional office space for SCC administration.

"The college believes this will be an excellent facility for students in Cairo and surrounding areas," Dr. Larry Choate, SCC President said.

All SCC classes in Cairo have been moved to the new site at 2403 Walnut Street for the beginning of the Spring 2006 semester. For more information, please contact the Cairo Extension Center at 618-734-3660.
