Build Your Own Business . . . In the Empowerment Zone

Shawnee Community College is once again offering a Build Your Own Business series of classes. Join the class for 10 exciting weeks, learning to take a dream and turn it into a reality. Classes will cover basic start-up issues and current information from some of the most knowledgeable professionals and business owners within our region.

Classes will be on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning February 12 and ending April 25. All classes will meet at the Shawnee Community College main campus near Ullin. The class is presented by the Southernmost Illinois Delta Empowerment Zone in partnership with Shawnee Community College's Small Business Development Center, developed in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and the University of Illinois Extension.
