Saints Run Away Against Lindenwood JV

The SCC Men's Basketball team hosted Lindenwood JV Tuesday in front a packed house. The Saints took a commanding lead early and never looked back. The Saints pressured their defense and was overwhelming as they scored at will. Lindenwood made a valiant effort by playing zone attempting to slow Shawnee down, but Nicholson and Thomas were too much as they combined for 31 of the Saints 100 points.

Shawnee went into half time dominating the game with the score Shawnee 43 and Lindenwood 24. Lewis, Williams & Torres combined for 30 of Shawnee's 43 first half points. Shawnee increased the lead to thirty early in the second half. Sitting the starters down at the 15:00 minute mark, the subs came in at took the lead to forty. Shawnee played their entire bench and had five players in double figures. Shawnee goes to 2-0 on the season, winning the Tuesday's game 100-57.

The Saints are on the road November 10 at rival Rend Lake @ 7:00 and return home to play John A. Logan on November 17.
