Women's Basketball Team Conquers First Tourney

The Lady Saints opened their 2005-2006 basketball season this past weekend by winning the Dyersburg State Tournament. In the first game Friday night the Lady Saints defeated Jackson State 70-62. Saturday afternoon they defeated the home team from Dyersburg 81-60. "The team played hard and I was very impressed with two victories," Coach Mike Ulen said. The Lady Saints will play their first home game today (Tuesday, November 8) at 5:30 against division-one opponent Lincoln Trail. The men will also play at 7:30 at "Senior's Night at SCC."
