Registrar Accepts District Chair Position

The Registrar at Shawnee Community College has recently been appointed as the new District Chair of the Southern District of the Illinois Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (IACRAO). While serving the one-year term, Mindy Reach's main responsibilities will be to serve as a member of the IACRAO Executive Board, plan and chair district meetings, and to serve as a member of the Program Committee for the Annual Meeting. She will also be preparing short news items about the District activities and forward to the Editor of the Chronicle, and keeping track of the budget, among various other duties.

IACRAO is a professional organization whose primary function is to educate its members, promote professionalism and professional development for its members, and represent its members and their views through interaction with other professional groups and lobbying on pertinent legislation.
