Blood Drive Successful

Shawnee Community College hosted a blood drive, in conjunction with a food and clothing drive for the victims of the Gulf Coast Hurricanes this week on campus. During the five hour drive, there were 57 donors, 43 of which were productive and 14 were first time donors. SCC's goal was to have 45 donors, which was surpassed by having three donors give double, to make our total donations reach 46. The college received too many items to count but has more than 15 bags of items collected that should be going out to those in need early next week.
