Volleyball Team Sweeps Springfield

The Lady Saints Volleyball team played several games over the past weekend, winning the first against Springfield, 30-12, 30-19, and 30-18. "The girls played well, they were definitely healthier than the last game, and I'm looking forward to Saturday's games" Head Coach Mike Fitzgerald said following the game. Nicole Tropf was able to block many attempts by Springfield, and was a key player for the Saints during this game.

On Sept. 10, they beat Lewis & Clark and Springfield while losing to Lincoln Land. On Sept. 13, the Lady Saints beat Crowley's Ridge 30-9, 30-9, 30-10. The Lady Saints are currently 12-6 overall and they are 2-1 in conference play. They play next at home against Lincoln Land and McKendree at 4 p.m., Monday Sept. 19.
