SCC Hosts Intercollegiate Art Show May 3rd

Shawnee Community College art students will participate in the Second Annual Intercollegiate Art Show. The opening ceremony will be on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 7 p.m. at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, Illinois. The exhibit will also be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 4.

The juried competition features the best artworks from colleges in Southern Illinois. SCC will have over forty works displayed in the exhibit. In 2007, SCC art students received first place awards in drawing and painting.
