Adult Ed Scholarships Awarded

The two recipients of the Vice President's Scholarships were recently recognized at the annual Shawnee College Adult Education graduation and recognition ceremony. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must score at least 2500 or higher on the GED test, and attend Shawnee College. This year's winners both scored over 2750 on the exam. To keep the scholarship students must maintain a 2.50 GPA. The scholarship covers tuition, fees and book loans. This year's winners, Kellie Bates and James Reeves were presented the scholarship by Vice-President of Student and Administrative Services, Dr. Richard Massie, Vice-President of Instruction, Tim Bellamey and President of SCC, Dr. Larry Choate.
