Chinese Acrobats Perform at SCC

Shawnee Community College and the Trio Educational Talent Search Program hosted the Chinese Acrobats, a division of The Bureau of Lectures and Concert Artists, Inc. June 4th, at the main campus educational center.

Students from Massac County, Goreville, Vienna, Dongola, Cairo, Egyptian, Joppa-Maple Grove and Meridian attended the performance along with members of the community.

In spite of her best efforts, the troupe’s interpreter Qian Zhang of Beijing was unable to persuade SCC event coordinator Brent Morrison to join the Chinese Acrobat troupe on stage during the afternoon performance.
