SCC Adult Education Recognition Ceremony

Shawnee Community College GED recipients, Alternative High School graduates, and National Adult Education Honor Society inductees will be honored at a recognition ceremony and reception on Thursday, May 18, at 7 p.m. in the Educational Center at the main campus. The public is invited to attend.

Honor Society recipients are chosen by SCC Adult Education staff and instructors for their excellence in the areas of attendance, cooperation and class performance. Each year the scholarships are awarded to two SCC GED students who had outstanding scores on the GED test. The scholarships will fund tuition and book costs for these students to complete a two year educational program at Shawnee College.
