2009 SCC Foundation Golf Scramble

Lawrence & Bean Insurance placed first flight A with a score of 52 Kelly Harper; Darryl Clark, SCC Foundation member; Mark Bean; J. R. Conkle; Bruce Monzulla; and Dr. Larry Peterson, SCC president.

The Mizell-Rouse Team Placed first flight D with a score of 67 Darryl Clark, SCC Foundation member, Jim and Rosemary Rouse; Larry and Barbara Mizell; and Dr. Larry Peterson, SCC president

SCC board of trustee member Richard Trampe held top honors with the longest drive.

The Shawnee Community College Foundation hosted 33 teams at the Gambit Golf Course in Vienna on June 12th. Members of the SCC golf team were right at home assisting with the event. The SCC team utilizes the Gambit as their home course. This event, along with the annual Foundation auction, enables the Foundation to fund thousands of dollars in scholarships to Shawnee Community College students each year. In addition to the flight A and D winners, first place in flight B went to the team of George Sullivan, Gene Hip, Lew Kimsey, and J.J. Jackson. The flight C first place team consisted of SCC’s very own Clyde Shafer, Ed Bridges, Brad Belt, and Richard Diefenbach. Larry Mizell and Kelly Hargan won for the closest to the pin shot and Jenny Sadler took top honors for the longest drive.
