Kortney Rose of Heath High School Signs to Play Softball at Shawnee Community College

Kortney Rose of Kevil, Kentucky has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Shawnee Community College. Kortney is a senior at Heath High school and played center field. Kortney compiled a batting average of .380 while collecting 20 RBI for the Lady Pirates.
In addition to being captain of the softball team Kortney was in Art Club, Spanish Club, FBLA Pep Club a member of Senior Homecoming Court and is a member of Heartland Worship Center. Kortney hopes to become a Nurse Anesthetist.
"Kortney comes from a strong softball program at Heath. We feel fortunate to get an athlete with her ability" Coach Palmer says. "She is quick in the outfield and will bring some offensive punch to our line-up as well. She possesses the complete package to make her a contributor right away."
