SCC Baseball Signs Nash McVey

Nash McVey has just signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois. Nash is the son of Greg and Mary Ann McVey and Mike and Leslie Pool. He plays catcher/third base at Carmi High School. His extracurricular activities include FFA and One Niter Plus. He played football for one year and basketball for three years. His batting average is .370 with 20+ RBIs.

"We're really excited to see how Nash can build on the team's average with his batting skills," Coach Greg Sheppard said. "He hits the ball very well."
