Federal and Institutional Work Study
Work study programs provide part-time jobs for a limited number
of students. Minimum wage jobs are paid by the hour. Part-time student employment for 6 to 20 hours per week is
funded by the Federal Work-Study Program and the Institutional Work-Study
Program (funded by Shawnee Community College). A valid federal Institutional Student
Informative Report (ISIR) and Shawnee Community College Financial Aid
Application must be on file before a student may qualify for work-study.
Opportunities for community service work may also be funded by the Federal
Work- Study Program.
