Associate
of Engineering Science The AES degree is a two-year degree for students transferring to
an accredited engineering school in the state of Transfer
Programs Transfer programs provide an
opportunity for students to complete the first two years of study leading to a
baccalaureate degree. The third and
fourth years of study will be completed at a four-year college or university to
which the student transfers after the completion of his or her program at Because four-year colleges vary in
their requirements, students should determine specific course requirements by
consulting with their faculty adviser or a college counselor as soon as
possible after admission to the college. The Curriculum Completion of the AES degree does not fulfill the requirements of
the Illinois General Education Core Curriculum, nor does it fulfill the
