Auto Body

CERTIFICATE

Individuals will be trained to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct, and finish automobile bodies, fenders, and external features. Individuals will be instructed in all phases of body work preparation, finishing, shop safety, and appraising damage.

The Coursework

AUT 130 Auto Body I

This course will provide basic knowledge in learning the techniques, skills and procedures needed for auto body repair.
CREDIT: 3 hours - Two Lecture and Two Lab hours per week.
Prerequisite: None
 

 

AUT 131 Auto Body Repair II

This course is a continuation of Auto Body I. In Auto Body II, the student will also be assisted in learning how to develop a shop, as well as the organization and management of an auto body shop.
CREDIT: 3 hours - Two Lecture and Two Lab hours per week.
Prerequisite: Auto Body I - AUT 130
