POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS COORDINATOR: Full-time, management level 1 position.
Coordinate all activities with local schools and Shawnee Community College of the three-year pilot project, partnering with four local high schools to assess college readiness. Working with ACT/ASSET scores to align specific community college courses in developmental and freshman curriculums. Assist in developing academic activities to reduce remediation in math, reading, and writing at college and high school levels.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Curriculum Development, Secondary Education, or related field. Applicant must possess strong communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Preferred: Applicant should be able to organize and prioritize work with minimal
supervision and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
and Access data base management.
Salary: $33,800 annually.
