Coach Richmond will be in her first season at Shawnee Community College. She comes out of retirement after 32 years at NCAA D1 SEMO.

A five time Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year, Richmond has reached plenty of milestones throughout her decorated career. She complied 884 wins at SEMO, ranks at the top of OVC wins at 286, and recognized in top 25 nationally by the NFCA. She coached 38 first team All OVC selections, 16 Hall of Famers, nine All Americans, and two OVC Female Athletes of the Year. Richmond's SEMO teams won five OVC conference titles, made five NCAA appearances and garnered a NCAA Division II Final Four berth in 1991. Her 1991 Final Four team was inducted into SEMO Hall of Fame.

Richmond coached over 300 student athletes at SEMO, and her teams were consistently ranked in GPA nationally every year by the NFCA. Her 2002 squad earning the highest ranking after sporting the nation's second best GPA. Richmond served seven years as the Head Volleyball Coach compiling 203 wins. Richmond also served as an Assistant Athletics Director for over 20 years at SEMO.

A Somerset, Kentucky native, she earned a Bachelor's degree from Berea College and a Master's degree at Georgetown.

Richmond and her husband Tim have one daughter, Jordyn, and reside in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
