Music and motion picture industries are deeply concerned about copyright infringement that is occuring through the use of peer-to-peer file sharing software on many computer networks, including those on college and university campuses. Digital file sharing technology has made it easier to make and share a large number of unauthorized copies of creative works without regard to or consideration of the rights of copyright owners.

It is inappropriate to use Shawnee Commmunity College facilities to disseminate copywritten materials.
