Shawnee Community College’s programs offered at the East St. Louis Higher Education Center are part of a cooperative effort with Southwestern Illinois College, Kaskaskia College and Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville.  SCC offers Allied Health programs, an Automotive Technology program and a Truck Driving program.  The campus is located in downtown East St. Louis in sight of the Gateway Arch.  Staff at the East St. Louis Center can admit, advise and register students for classes.  The Center is located outside of College District 531, which includes the counties of Alexander, Massac, Pulaski, Union and parts of Jackson and Johnson.  It can be easily accessed from Interstate 64. Parking is free at this facility.
